# Governance

## Overview

The governance of the SL DAO is carried out by the SL Token token holders. This governance process is designed with transparency and accessibility as a top priority, and allows token holders to freely participate in decision-making, starting with preliminary proposals in the SL DAO forum and ending with formal proposals through the SL DAO governance module.

Governance decisions range from launching new projects, authorizing the operations team, selecting new tokens to be added to the **SL DAO** platform, and integrating new entities within the DAO governance structure. All of these decisions are made through active suggestions and voting by **SL Token** token holders.

By acting as an ideal DAOin the DAO ecosystem, **SL DAO** aims to employ the best DAO governance processes to balance efficiency and effectiveness, in pursuit of development and promotion in blockchain industry. We believe that true innovation happens when diverse perspectives and collaborative efforts are combined.
