# Governance System

* **Roles and responsibilities**

  The development team is responsible for solving technical issues and maintaining the protocol, while the community plays an important role in the big picture of the project by setting strategic direction and participating in governance. Voted decisions are implemented by the development team, but the process and results are constantly monitored and evaluated by the community. This is an important mechanism to ensure transparency and accountability of the project.
* **Conflict resolution mechanisms**

  A team of mediators for conflict resolution is responsible for the neutral and impartial resolution of conflicts. They are experienced and trusted by the community, and their role is to mediate conflicts of interest between all governance participants. The mediation process is designed to ensure that all parties are heard and that the best possible solution is reached.
* **Change management**

  Our change management process prioritizes transparency. Every rule change or protocol update is subject to a thorough community review. This process includes a proposal phase, public discussion, voting, and final approval. This is an essential step in order to protect the interests of all token holders while maintaining the flexibility of the project.

  **SL DAO** introduces community calls to enhance transparency in governance and communication between members. These regular calls are open to all token holders and provide a platform to discuss the project's progress, key decisions, and future plans.

This allows members to receive the latest updates on the project, share their thoughts directly, and participate in important governance decisions.
  2. **How it works** : Each call starts with a key announcement from the project leader or development team, followed by a Q\&A session where all participants can ask questions and provide feedback.
  3. **Fostering participation** : Community calls are open to all token holders, giving them the opportunity to submit questions in advance or share their thoughts during the call in real time. This active participation helps build a deeper understanding of the project and a broader base of support.
  4. **Record and share** : All community calls are recorded and publicly uploaded to the project's website or forum. This helps ensure transparency and allows members who were unable to attend to see what was important.
