# Proposal Procedure

**SL Token** holders have free access to the **SL DAO**'s governance forum, where any token holder can initiate a proposal. The forum is an open platform that facilitates diverse discussions and allows all members to directly contribute to the direction of the project's development. The proposal process is as follows

1. **Initiate a proposal**: Token holders propose new ideas or improvements to the forum. This initial proposal should include a brief description of the project and the expected effect.
2. **Community discussion**: Proposals are discussed with other members of the forum to get feedback from the community and further refine them. Through the discussion, members can support, oppose, or suggest modifications to the proposal.
3. **Formal review**: Proposals that receive sufficient support are formally reviewed by the governance team. At this stage, the feasibility and impact of the proposal is assessed, and a technical audit is performed if necessary.
4. **Voting**: After review, the proposal is put to a community vote. Voting is open to all token holders, and each member can cast a vote proportional to the number of tokens they own.
