# Voting system

The voting system on the **SL DAO** empowers **SL Token** holders with significant decision-making power, and achieves maximum decentralization through token-based voting. The system is based on the principles of transparency, security, and accessibility.

1. **Technical implementation** : The voting process is implemented utilizing blockchain technology. This ensures that all voting records are immutable and tamper-proof. Votes are automatically tallied through smart contracts, ensuring accuracy and rapid processing of results.
2. **How voting works** : Voting is conducted through an online platform, where token holders can use their digital wallets to participate in voting. Each token holder's vote is proportional to the number of tokens they hold.
3. **Security** : The voting system is protected by applying multiple security protocols. These include encryption of voting data, monitoring of transactions during the voting period, and systems to detect unusual activity. In addition, regular security audits are conducted to check and improve the system for vulnerabilities.
4. **Disclosure and verification of voting results** : All voting results are publicly announced and can be accessed and verified by anyone via SL DAO's website or blockchain explorer. This ensures transparency of voting and contributes to maintaining community trust.
